Vivek Natarajan

Vivek is a Research Scientist at Google Health AI, working towards leveraging biomedical AI to make top-tier healthcare accessible to all. He has a keen interest in creating foundational models for biomedical applications, spearheading the Med-PaLM project, Google Deepmind's prominent medical large language model.

His research, published in prestigious platforms such as Nature, NeurIPS, and JMLR, plays a significant role in Google's clinical trials for regulated medical device products. These include the NHS AI award-winning Mammo Reader, a breast cancer detection system, and DermAssist, a skin condition classification system. Before joining Google, Vivek honed his expertise in multimodal AI at Facebook AI Research.
