Siddharth Khullar

Sid is the Senior Director of Machine Learning R&D at Northvolt, a company aiming to revolutionize battery manufacturing through novel chemistries and sustainable, large-scale processes.

Sid's multidisciplinary background includes roles at Apple, Microsoft Research, Eight Sleep, and Quanttus, contributing to various sectors like autonomous systems, AR/VR, machine learning, and health. He earned his PhD in Imaging Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, specializing in functional neuroimaging and image processing. Notably, during his doctorate, he co-invented a wearable retinal imaging system at MIT Media Lab, earning recognition at the MIT 100k challenge and the Dow Chemicals Impact Conference in 2012.

Originally from New Delhi, India, and having spent 15 years in the US, Sid now resides in Stockholm, Sweden. He actively supports the local startup ecosystem as an angel investor and advisor to several startup incubators.
