Sarah Jarvis

Sarah Jarvis, Head of Data Science at PROWLER.io, is a computer engineer and neuroscientist specializing in applying intelligent solutions to real-world problems. At PROWLER.io, she leads a global team of researchers and engineers in the development of a groundbreaking decision-making platform, tackling AI applications involving uncertainty and unknown values.

Sarah's career extends beyond the tech sector; she has leveraged machine learning in public health, designing tools to help developing countries optimally allocate health program budgets. Collaborating closely with the World Bank, she assisted in directing budgets totaling over $250 million.

Born in Australia, Sarah obtained her education from Freiburg University in Germany and Imperial College in London. In her forthcoming talk at RAAIS 2019, she will elaborate on the necessity of an integrated approach for handling complex challenges, such as uncertain and unobservable variables in transport scheduling.
