Morten Dahl

Morten Dahl is a distinguished Research Scientist at Cape Privacy, a startup focused on building a platform for secure, privacy-preserving machine learning. He's renowned in the field of artificial intelligence for his work on data privacy, distributed training, and encryption. Morten is the creator of TF Encrypted, an open-source project that fosters the integration and experimentation of secure machine learning within TensorFlow. Leveraging his strong background in cryptography and privacy, he applies and adapts these techniques to machine learning, with an emphasis on developing practical tools and concrete applications to democratize the field. An active maintainer of PPML News and a member of the OpenMined community, Morten holds a PhD in Computer Science from Aarhus University, with a focus on secure multiparty computation, privacy, and symbolic analysis of cryptographic protocols.
